Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long is the wait?

There is no wait! If you know when you would like to get married, we can check our calendar for availability. If the date/time you prefer is on hold, we can reach out to you if the other couple/group decides not to book.

Do you have space for a reception?

This depends on your vision. If you would like to reserve the Garden Patio for light appetizers, it is a great spot. If you want a sit-down meal, we have a list of spaces nearby we can recommend on our vendor list.

Can you reserve both Chapels?

The time slots of the Chapels are staggered to accommodate staffing needs and maximize our availability. However, you are welcome to rent both chapels at the same time with the overlapping time frame(s). You would be charged the full rate for each.

How long are the ceremony time slots?

In the Main Chapel, the time slots are 2 hours and 45 minutes (1.75 hours). In the Garden Chapel, the time slots are 2 hours and 30 minutes (1.5 hours).

Am I allowed to add time to my reservation to make it longer?

You are permitted to add time in quarter-hour (15 minute) increments, up to one hour. If you need more time than this, we require you to pay for a second time slot on either end of your reservation.

Can any religion use the facility?

Yes; we are an interfaith chapel and welcome all religious and secular ceremonies.

Is the Chapel LGBTQIA+ friendly?

Absolutely! We welcome couples of all backgrounds, orientations, and identities.

What are the restrictions on decorations?

There are minimal restrictions on decor: no live flame, no confetti/glitter/rice/birdseed, no standing water (i.e.: vases), no food or drink, and no live petals thrown by the flower girl.

Live flowers are permitted on the pews, on the altar, and for the bridal bouquets.

What about our furry friends?

Disability service animals are permitted at the chapel with appropriate licensing and paperwork. For all other animals, they must be leashed, kept in the auxiliary spaces, and monitored at all times. There is a $70 non-refundable pet deposit which is to cover any potential housekeeping fees.

What are the restrictions on music?

There are no restrictions on music.

Is an officiant provided?

No officiant is provided; we can offer you a list of officiants we recommend who have worked with us in the past.

Are musicians provided?

Musicians are not provided, but we do have a list of recommended musicians if you would like.

Can we bring our own band/instruments?

Included in your reservation is use of the piano and organ, but you must provide your own musician. You are welcome to bring your own band or instruments, however, they must bring their own amplifiers and are absolutely not permitted to plug into our sound system under any circumstances. We can provide microphones, extension cords, powerstrips, and outlets.

Where can we park for the wedding?

During Saturday and Sunday weddings, parking is unrestricted in Lot Y for you and your guests. For Fridays (rehearsals and weddings) parking is available in Lot Y after 4pm. Before 4pm and on weekdays, permits are required. We can only provide parking passes for up to 5 key persons, so please plan accordingly. Overflow parking is available after 4pm on Friday through the weekend in Lot L. Metered parking is available around the building and in Regents Drive Garage. Digital maps can be provided by our office.

Can I decorate during my rehearsal?

You are welcome to decorate during your rehearsal if and only if there are no other events between your rehearsal and the ceremony. Please reach out to our office to ask for this information.

When can I or my vendors arrive?

When you book your time slot with us, we give you entrance and exit times. You are welcome to use this time as you wish, but all persons (guests, family, bridal party, and vendors) will need to strictly adhere to the entrance AND exit times. If you arrive early or stay late, you will be billed by the quarter hour.
