Changes and Cancellations
Date Changes
Understanding that plans can change, the Memorial Chapel allows couples to change the date and/or time of their wedding once free of charge. Any additional changes require a $50.00 charge per change.
Cancellations
Understanding that the Chapel is harmed by last minute cancellations and due to the nature of event planning the Chapel will have little or no opportunity to resell space, the following policies govern cancellation of wedding reservations:
- If you choose to cancel your wedding reservation, you must send notice in writing to the Chapel Reservations Office.
- No full refunds are given for cancelled wedding reservations. At no time will the $50 administrative fee be returned.
- If cancellation is made by the first of the month six months or more prior to the event date, 50% of the total wedding reservation fee will be refunded.
- If you have yet to pay in full (ie, your wedding is more than 12 months away), you will not be charged your remaining balance and will not receive a refund of your deposit.
- If cancellation is made closer than the first of the month six months prior to the event date, no refund will be made.
