Memorial Chapel Organists

The Memorial Chapel is proud of its historic Moeller pipe organ.& If you plan to have the organ played for your Main Chapel wedding, we highly recommend that you contract with one of these organists. Organists are listed alphabetically.

Dr. Ted Guerrant (Fee includes consultation)
Prefers classical, sacred, and traditional music. Five degrees in keyboard performance. Organist and Director of Music at Christ Episcopal Church, Kensington, MD. A.G.O. member. Professional since 1967.

Sunderan Moses (Fee includes rehearsal) 
Organist for 30+ years. Plays traditional and contemporary music - customizes to specific needs. Accompanies vocalists and instrumentalists on piano or organ.

Dr. Elizabeth Dumas Schneider
Juilliard graduate and Colleague of the American Guild of Organists, Elizabeth has performed, taught, and led church music since 1987. Extensive classical repertoire on both organ and piano. Organist at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Dr. William D. Powell
Current director of music and organist at Glade United Church of Christ in Walkersville, Maryland, traditional
choir director and organist at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Walkersville, and assistant organist at
St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Frederick. In addition to his church positions, Bill is an
adjunct instructor of piano at Hood College, teaches private piano and organ lessons. Classical repertoire.
